From scans of Slides, Negatives, Photographs or Restored Images.

We will always present scanned or restored images to you as uncompressed 16 bit TIF files. Whilst these are larger files, they have the advantage over 8 bit JPG files of not recompressing and eventually losing quality when saved. Alongside the TIF file we will supply a JPG copy which is sized for viewing on a 4K TV (long side 3840 pixels, DPI of 72) which is also good for viewing on HD TV as well but not suitable for printing. If you prefer a full-size JPG rather than a TIF please let us know.

We do not provide “slide show” or traditional framing options for your images. We feel the ordering and design of these is personal so we refrain from making that judgement.

Digital Download

We will put your images at a location in the Cloud secured for you, sending the link to you via email. From there you can download them to your home devices. Please note that the files will be there for one month after which we will remove them.

We do not recommend this method for larger orders if you do not have a fast download speed on your internet connection, or if you have any caps on usage.

Please do make a backup copy of your files as soon as you download them.

Framed Block

Frames Canvas Block

This is a modern product we recommend with our black and white images. The print is flush mounted to an MDF block, given an anti-scratch printseal then framed in a stunning black inlay moulding. There are options to have the central image on canvas or an acrylic finish.

Canvas Wall Display

2 Inch Canvas Wrap

This Canvas Gallery Wrap is the perfect way to display your images and whilst described as "moden" the use of canvas prints is a more traditional way of dispalying your images. It is printed as a professional quality photograph on Fuji DPII silver halide paper before applying a canvas effect seal to the surface. The print is then wrapped over a rigid 2" block to produce a three dimensional finish with the option of fully wrapping your image or selecting black or white edges.

Acrylic Wall Display

Acrylic thick

This acrylic is a statement piece of wall art. A single Fuji DP II photographic print, encapsulated between two clear sheets of crystal grade acrylic (2mm front and 12mm back), creating a solid product with an overall thickness of 14mm and an ultra high gloss finish. It makes colourful or black and white images shine.

Aluminium Wall Display

Aluminium mounted print

This makes images pop with the latest in high definition metal print technology. The aluminium mounted print is robust, waterproof and scuff resistant and solid whilst thin. It creates a modern eye-catching metal wall art feature with no border. We think this is best suited to items with strong colours as it makes them shine. We also believe it best suited to a single colour wall.

Please note that due to the natural materials used imperfections in the aluminium surface may be visible through the image.

From Video Recordings

There are many CODECs and Containers in use. Our preferences for digital files on USB or download are to use H264 or H265 Codecs with .mp4, .mov or AVHCD (.mts/.m2ts) Containers as appropriate. If you have a preference please let us know.

We do this to maintain the highest quality of file we can give to you and to ensure the digitisation and associated transfer does not lower the quality of your original video or film.

Digital Download

We will put your videos at a location in the Cloud secured for you, sending the link to you via email. From there you can download them to your home devices. Please note that the videos will be there for one month after which we will remove them.

We do not recommend this method for larger orders if you do not have a fast download speed on your internet connection, or if you have any caps on usage.

Please do make a backup copy of your files as soon as you download them.

Blu-ray or DVD

All our HD transfers and captures are returned digitally or on Blu-Ray disc. There is no DVD option.

We will return one disc per film or if size permits multiple films on one Blu-Ray if you wish. A basic menu will be provided on the Blu-Ray for film selection. We can add a generic image for the menu background, or one of your own if you wish.

Non-HD recordings can be returned on DVD if requested.

From Audio Recordings

There are a number of digital file formats your recordings can come back to you as if you want them on a USB stick or download. These fall into two areas called “lossless” or “lossy”. Lossless has bigger files but maintains the complete sound quality whereas lossy compresses the file to make it smaller and more portable but at the cost of sound quality. Which you prefer depends on how you play your music.

If you are using a home music system with good amplifier, speakers and CD player we would recommend lossless files or a CD disc. Digital files stored and played by a streamer or DAC into your music system from the likes of Bluesound, Marantz, NAD, Cambridge Audio, Naim etc. will benefit from this. We believe that if you use MQA, Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer Amazon CD or other higher quality streams the first choice has to be lossless. For this we offer WAV, FLAC or ALAC digital files as well as a traditionally recorded CD.

If you are playing on PC speakers or your mobile device which his not true hi-fi quality then lossy is generally appropriate as you are unlikely to hear the difference. If you stream via Spotify or standard Amazon music then you are used to MP3 and know if it suits you or not. We can supply MP3 with a full quality CD.

We do not supply CDs with MP3 files on them. Nor at this time can we record DVD-A or Blu-Ray audio discs but it is something we are looking into.

For Art

We regularly update our selection of images for purchase direct as wall art, in varying finishes and designs. They are delivered directly to you from our printers, which we review annually for products best suited to our needs.

In addition to the selection on this site, you could choose any of our stock images, just tell us which!

Canvas Wall Display

2 inch canvas wrap

TSometimes an image needs a more traditional way of dispalying your images such as this canvas rwap which is printed as a professional quality photograph on Fuji DPII silver halide paper before applying a canvas effect seal to the surface. The print is then wrapped over a rigid 2" block to produce a three dimensional finish with the option of fully wrapping your image or selecting black or white edges.

Framed Block

Boxed frame print

This is a modern product we recommend with our black and white images. The print is flush mounted to an MDF block, given an anti-scratch printseal then framed in a stunning black inlay moulding. As we are curating the art for this we do not offer the canvas or acrylic finishes here.

Acrylic Wall Display

Thinner Acrylic Wall Art

This acrylic is a statement piece of wall art. A single Fuji DP II photographic print, encapsulated between two clear sheets of crystal grade acrylic (2mm front and 12mm back), creating a solid product with an overall thickness of 14mm and an ultra high gloss finish.
